Did anything change after this fight?

Conor fight always was and is a 50/50 fight depending on the round 1 takedown battle.

After last night I see tony having a much better chance than I previously did. And I thought he already had a decent chance at beating khabib.

Even more impressed. He won rounds standing against a striker.

The whole one dimensional thing went out the window.

He's the best LW in the world and I see no reason to think any different

Made me realize we really really have to see him fight Tony no matter what.

That (through my drunken Rose coloured glasses) was exactly how all of his fights go...

He didn't gas and won two stand-up rounds, he answered the two most common issues people expected him to have.

He wins fights in 1st gear against people who are on 5 fight win streaks whist winning the stand up battle with his hands by his waist.

I see a lot of folks giving him shit but imo, doesn't look any worse for me. Dude had a day to prepare for Al.

-His takedowns didn't seem as effective when he didnt have his opponent against the cage.

-It seems like he had to take rounds off and looked like he was slowing down, so his cardio isn't the best. At first i thought his cardio would have been atleast close to Tony's. It's better than Conor's tho.

-Conor and Tony would whoop him on the feet. He stands with his left hand low and he backs up with his chin up in the air.

After last night I think both Connor and Tony would beat Kahbib fairly easily. I didnt see any amazing takedowns just grasping and clinging to Al.
As far as Kahbibs stand up goes hes not very good vs #15 so its hard to see him outstriking #1 or #2.
Despite what Dana says I think Kahbib is the #3 best lightweight.

Ain't nothing changed the eagle will fly

Still very impressed, he could not take Al down after round two though and his defense definitely showed some holes, ie leaning back with chin exposed to avoid punches..that could come back to bite him at some point especially if he doesn't shore up his stamina and keep up his grappling pressure into rounds 4 and 5.

His jab was a little bit better than I expected, but overall his striking is just begging for a counter striker or a pressure striker to take advantage.
He 100% dominates against the cage, and when he has top control. He makes everyone look amateur next to him when that happens.
He struggles HARD to get a take down or establish anything without clinch or cage control.
He still sticks his chin straight up.

Khabib is obsessed with showing off hes striking it seem. He uses hes grapling skills to make hes opponent tiered and then engages in a sloppy striking fight when the tempo is slowed down cuz of fatigue. Its not that fun to watch tired sloppy fighters strike after 10 min of wrestling imo. For my entertainment I want to watch Khabib gnp and wrestle.
