Amanda didn’t fight the position which led to Pena attacking the sub. Giving up or accepting the inferior position without any effort is the first red flag. Then she didn’t fight the hands (which is what you always do when someone tries to get his/her arms in there and squeeze the shit out of your neck). The hooks weren’t in, either, which means a seasoned grappler could’ve improved the position which would’ve taken away the submission threat. It’s BJJ 101, really.

Can any one prove this Amanda had a friend bet on Pena? Keep seeing it, but, no proof. I think she legit gassed, but, funny, she has gone much deeper in fights at higher pace and not gas. Could Covid lungs have compromised her? Not train hard as usual due to the hype? Amanda has talked about retiring and not being motivated, could that have been it too?

I dont think anybody has prove of it. Its quiete obvious something happened to Amanda, because she didnt show up at all. This wasnt a loss like Holm vs Ronda where the one fighter was clearly better, this wasnt like GSP Serra where she just got fluke koed, it wasnt even like Conor Nate 1 where Nate just outworked Conor. No, Nunes for some reason wasnt able to even dodgee or block a simple jab, gave up.her Back without fighting and tapped instantly with a simple air choke.

If she wasnt ill or in any other way comprimised, it makes you kinda suspicious.
