lol, of course not, because the superbowl is two teams of around 50 players each, not 1 v 1, but if a Marshall-type incident occurred where an entire team was wiped out I bet they would cancel it

I don't see the problem. What's so bad about not having a championship defended for a year or a year and a half? Especially in weak divisions without proper contenders like 155.

this is a good thing! Remember how Dana always talks about how small the windows of opportunity are for the fighters?

Imagine how stressful life must be for guys like Khabib, Thomson or RDA who were worrying about those windows, especially Thomson, and thought they were close to a title shot, pushing hard, trying to make the most out of their prime or go on one last run before retirement.

They don't have to worry about a thing now because none of them is coming anywhere close to the belt until at the very least a full year from now. I am so happy for them!
