he still has to go through all the USADA hassles unless he retires.
If he does, then he will need to give the 4 months notice before accepting another fight.

That should ease some minds regarding his next fight (re: cheating)

I can imagine Brock absolutely hating contacting USADA every day.
Imagine waking him up at 6am at his farm?
lol

I can imagine some of the USADA reps getting eaten by wolves before they can get to brock

Can he say hes retired and then pull this same situation in another comback?, where he'll be exempt from the regular testing.

I doubt they can do that trick twice.

USADA only tests when a fight is announced? I thought it was 24/7 365.

I feel bad for Hunt because he shouldn't have taken the fight like this but he's the one that accepted it. He knew the terms and conditions going in.

If he's not under contract with UFC why would they test him? Maybe I'm wrong but I thought I read this was the last fight on his contract.

Any fight after Hunt would have to be negotiated under a new contract and I'd certainly assume no testing would be done until after one is made official.

Just because he's clean now, does not erase 15 years of steroids abuse... Even his fingers are bigger because of HGH, and it will stay that way for the rest of his life... Some of steroids effects are permanent, that is the problem with returning cheaters.

No ... unless he announces his retirement in writing, he gets tested
If he does announce it - he must give 4 months notice next fight

First off, Brock has never failed a test
Second, that does not mean he was clean, but if you think that 90% of UFC was not cheating up until USADA, you are paying ZERO attention to how different fighters look & fight since USADA

Nope. Brock retired before the USADA was connected to the UFC the first time. So the rules didn't apply to him and he was viewed as a "new fighter" rather than someone coming out of retirement.

If he retires and comes back he'll be returning under the USADA rules. GSP can also come back right now on a days notice.

Thanks, that makes sense.

This shit is getting old.

Brock has been tested FAR more than most athletes in their lives. Tested FAR more than Fedor for example.

How many tests has he failed?

Wasnt he technically supposed to give 4 months before this too? Its in writing that this exemption could never happen again.

No he wasnt
That is Sherdog folklore

He was not under USADA when he retired 4+ years ago
He was not bound to that

Sherdog nitwits made up their own story

Novitzky better be on his ass is all Im saying. Im not happy about this bullshit that went down around Lesnar and this event. Bullshit preferential treatment. And it was totally unfair to Mark. Never has Mark been treated like a child like that before. That is not natural.
