So, Sean Strickland showers with AK-47

It’s still an inanimate object. Still required a person with intent to fire the thing. I knew he was repentant but my personal opinion is his guilt was misplaced. I say that as the son of a combat wounded veteran who was shot with those things.
That is the eternal moral question - Does the inventor carry any responsibility for how his inventions are used. One of the thought experiments go something like "If a guy invents a button that with one press will end the world, and he then sets the button out amongst people, with a sign saying - do not press, it will end the world.Do the "inventor" have any responsibility for the end of the world when someone pushes the button?.

I don't know what to make of people who say things shortly before death that seem inconsistent with the life they led. He was 94 when he died, and wrote that letter not long before that.

The dude was a general. His entire career was centered around killing in a legally sanctioned manner. Apart from his invention, his life's activity resulted in many deaths over and beyond his invention.

Not suggesting he wasn't sincere, just pondering on the turn of his thought and perspective at that particular stage of his life.

He has said it for many years before his death.

"I'm proud of my invention, but I'm sad that it is used by terrorists," he said on a visit to Germany, adding: "I would prefer to have invented a machine that people could use and that would help farmers with their work - for example a lawnmower."

Edit: I will add that I don't know much about him, but with him being russian military professional, it is probably safe to say he is not the nicest guy in the world.

That hypothetical scenario has to be to the utmost extreme to make it relevant. Oppenheimer and a few select others would be the ones to ask.
“Now I am become Death, the destroyer of worlds”

This guy is embarrasing

If thats not the case, he goes by coasting a boring decision.

I dont care about his shenanigans.. i just cant stand his fake imposted macho voice

If i wasnt yellowed, i could go into more detail
I totally empathize with you. But for some reason I'm a fan of heel/crazy persona. With Sean, and I mean this will all the respect in the world, and as others similarily have mentioned, he certainly packs a heel persona. With that being said, just how much of it is an act? Is he similar to Colby or Conor (90/10)?
The answer is no. Much of what he does is much more than bravado. That's why I'm a fan.

Imagine being so devoid of actual interesting aspects to your personality that sharing that you shower with a firearm makes sense?

Strickland keeping the character going. Hilarious how people eat this crap up and think he's serious.

He plays up it up a little. That is the thing when you grow up in the gym. You never really attended college or had work in an environment where you have to curb some of the craziness. Strickland is still a giant teenager. It's honest but it's offensive to some.
