this is hilarious especially looking at the comments before Diaz Fight
UFC president Dana White shot down the possibility of a McGregor and Aldo rematch happening anytime soon.

“It's one of those things,” White said. “We made the fight the first time and he got hurt and had to pull out.

“Then we made it again and it ended in 13 seconds. It's tough to make that fight again right away.”

Conor said aldo rematch makes sense, kavanagh on MMA Hour said if it wa sup to him they would do Aldo Rematch and dana was considering it at the post fight panel on FOX LOL

Dana needs to get the Conor hype train back on track, and Edgar will put him on his back and tool him. Conor already beat Aldo. If Conor has any pride at all he should demand the Edgar fight, but he won't.
 
Dana and company knew/know damn well that Frankie is a terrible match up for Conor, so does Conor's camp. No way they will ever fight. If Conor beats Aldo again, he vacates the belt and goes up to 155. If he loses then Edgar will fight Aldo. This fight will NEVER happen...I HOPE I'M WRONG.
 
He just got SONed by Diaz.

Prolly figures since he dieded aldo with one punch, it's a good recovery fight after getting Stockton slapped to Bolivian.

Been saying this awhile. Funny part is when Conor gets starched by Aldo and has to fight the loser of Edgar and Aldo which would be Edgar so the fight could happen but not for a belt but a title shot imo. Conor isn't winning the rematch.
 
So Frankie, here's how this is gonna go.. Aldo will win in spectacular fashion against Conor the 2nd time around, than we can book the third fight for the highest ppv's in history, you;ll get your shot in 2019!

I think Aldo will ko or sub him. Conor has 1-2 rounds tops to do it. Aldo wont run in. Connor won't get immediate rematch. Aldo didn't. He will have to fight Edgar or Holloway would be my guess.

He's underestimating Aldo like he did Nate and I'm sorry but when Aldo puts his hands on him playtime will be over and watch how scared that dude gets. Fuck ya he know's what Frankie will do. The whole world does along with his lame camp.Conor believes his own hype and bullshit and that will be the downfall with him and Aldo

Aldo will get an immediate rematch if that is the first fight for him back at 145.

The sad part is you Conor fans can't seem to grasp that your "hero" had a fluke ko. If he was so confident why didn't he want to fight Aldo immediately afterwards?The bitch ran up a weight class,got fucking beat stupid,sent back to FW. You all know damn good and well after 2 rounds Conor will fold. Watch.
 
Even if Edgar deserves it more than Aldo it looks bad for the UFC and esp. Dana if they deny Aldo a rematch after granting one to basicly every single champion. Yes Aldo got KOd in 13 seconds but i would argue that a flash KO isnt really that dominant of a loss as say the Rousey/Holm loss.
The more overarching issue here is that there are no system in place like there is in basicly every other sport. When company individuals keeps picking, choosing and playing favourites it just looks bad for everyone involved.
If it was up to me id say champions gets an automatic no1 contenders fight if they lose.
