He has to be ashamed of himself for hyping Ngannou so much and not Stipe!!!! Fuck that clown and Stipe is the man because he took many Ford Escort going full speed and survived and delivered his own Ford Focus!

fucking ridiculous. Stipe had an amazing performance, excellent cardio and outlanded him 200 to 33.

Overeem clinched early and held him in the clinch for a while, then the ref issued a complete bullshit break, and Overeem was knocked out shortly after the ref broke up his clinch.
 
Rogan is a great guy, and he loves the sport. So what if he hypes marketable fighters, he's still the best MMA commentator.

Rogaine is a UFC employee who hypes whomever they want to push. People should stop expecting anything different. They were hoping they had an MMA Mike Tyson (even though Ngannou wasn't young and only had a couple quality wins). It didn't work out. On to the next 'star in the making'. If Stipe weren't as bland as rice, he'd get more push.

When you're winning in dominant fashion the way he was, against a guy who is completely gassed, you can do whatever you want. Francis probably wanted to be choked out, but Stipe decided to keep beating him up instead.
 
I don't know if its all hype. We all get excited when the big boys love to throw bombs. So Rogan as usual gets pretty excited.
 
I think people take the hype jobs too seriously, they are just trying to sell the fight. You want to talk up the challenger so people buy the fight. You wouldn't watch if they said "this guy can't win". Plus I think it makes the champ look better if he wins because then you can play up that he beat this monster and run with the "who can dethrone the champion now?" narrative.
