So no more PPV 🤬

Shit all along I thought the Canadian Paramount + will have the UFC events. Man I was fooled. lol Oh well I guess I'll just cancel after the year is done.

"...but no... not for australians, we still have to pay full cost for main cards"

Fucking what now? I just signed up to this shit for a year and you're telling me we don't get UFC events?
same here in canada. It's bullshit.

Being a network IT guy, I of course, could easily create a vpn tunnel saying im in america then use their product but I simply won't on principle.

You can do that? What happens if you get caught? What's the chances?

Isn't similar to illegal streaming?

I have my own ideas, as far as who gave Dana advice to make it affordable for Americans but charge the rest of the world for PPV, but if I name names it would only be speculation and finger pointing
Its almost like an entertainment tarrif

No. not at all. It is not illegal to do it. There are all kinds of VPN services you can pay for to obfuscate your network location. Lots of people have similar devices to watch European TV, arabic TV ect. There is a zero percent chance of being caught as it is certainly not illegal, Just not sure if it violates terms of services for paramount+. Some applications have whats called geo restricted services, for example, I live in ontario, and you cant use bet365 app when I am in quebec because it's geo-restriction policy doesn't allow it.

Long and short, It's not illegal and there is no fine. but if paramount+ MAY suspend your account if it violates their TOS. your Internet service provider and "the Law" dont apply.

Thank you for your insight my friend. 👍

after 20 years of torrrenting, i was looking forward to actually watching events live and happliy paying for it through paramount.

but no... not for australians, we still have to pay full cost for main cards as well as subscruiption to paramount, so only one thing to do then;

lets hoist the black flag lads, time to get sailing again

Australia has a population that is less than the state of Texas... I think the UFC doesn't care much for the market.

You have to subscribe to Paramount+ and still pay extra for the events? That makes no sense.

Here in Brazil we'll just have to change from Fight Pass to Paramount+, but the prices are pretty much the same (like 30 bucks a month).

Don't listen to @RockyLockridge, people who do this get f***ing smashed and they go to GAOL.

It's likely that the UFC has an existing deal with the PPV providers in Australia.

Australians and Kiwis have been the only markets where people have been fucked nearly as hard as Americans and Canadians on PPV prices.
