Thanks for the update, well I guess all I'll do is get Paramount and stream, nothing has changed really

Other than you can't get everything on fight pass and basically need to pay for the fight pass library on it's own. That's what really annoys me. If Paramount had the entire fight pass library as well I'd be pretty fine with it.

I heard a Dana interview saying that they still have existing TV contracts in a lot of overseas areas that need to shake out before they can move the broadcast over to Paramount in those locations.

It's at 5 mins of this interview.


He said they're putting the entire catalog from the UFC's past, on the Paramount app. so I'm not sure what use fight pass is anymore. Perhaps a part of teh 7 billy was moving the equivilent of fight pass to paramount? Not sure, he didn't really get into that.

From what I can work out for us Brits, nothing changes. It remains on Discovery Plus and they tediously make the odd numbered card a PPV, basically when a Brit is headlining.

I'm in the UK and won't be buying it. I will never pay extra on top of my BT subscription. It's a slippery slope and they can go fuck themselves.

Yup. Apparently it's Rogers Communications we have to blame. They own Sportsnet, who still own the UFC rights in Canada. Rogers are the ones that demanded PPVs continue in Canada, from what I understand. I'm sure the UFC didn't protest too much.

Whenever the Sportsnet contract expires, UFC in Canada will be going the same as USA on paramount+ unless by that time things have changed with Paramount

Hopefully it's just waiting for the contract to expire.

But if they have the option, they might be able to keep renewing their contract indefinitely. I guess we just have to wait and see.
