Out of principal I will not be viewing in any way. No streams, no B-Dubs, no watching at a friends house. Its soft, ridiculous, champ-protecting match-making like this is why there needs to be a strong competitor to the UFC.
 
O god get over it.

MMA is NEVER going to be 100% about who deserves what, given that injuries and issues occur. So why throw a hissy-fit when an all-time-great champ has a beef to settle with someone who is arguably the #1 or 2 contender.

The UFC is here to sell tickets and ppv's, end of story. The levees will surely hold under your pitiful tears of sorrow.

The first rule of being a consumer, is you literally have no obligation to buy said product...
 
I think its because hendricks doesnt have a name like Diaz.

Hendricks so far hasn't shown the public much, sure he's got a missle of a L hand, but he hasnt been put in bad situations and gone to wars like diaz has.

Diaz's resume in the past few years is more decorated and add that to the fact that people thought he won the condit fight. Plus this fight was SUPPOSED to happen before the injury/not showing up debacle.

Also, imo GSP vs Diaz seems way more interesting than GSP vs Hendricks.

Hendricks can fight the winner i guess.

In all fairness, people also have a right to complain if they are unhappy about a product they are buying.

It seems like theres people who will defend zuffa 100% no matter what.

Dana slaps a child = kids need to toughen up and stop being spoiled crybabies.

Even though i like the idea of diaz va gsp. Sonnen vs jones is BS.

But im more a diaz fan thats why.
 
It's the fight game, it's not the maths game.

One win doesn't necessarily equal another win. If it did then Mike Pearce would have had a title shot by now. Finishes, knockouts, entertaining fights get ranked higher than lay n prays by the match makers.

Hendricks has had some good wins but he isn't that marketable yet and many say he lost against Koscheck. People so quickly forget. If Koscheck can arguably beat Hendricks what do you think GSP is going to do to him? Give the guy some time to get better.
 
MMA, the UFC specifically is one of the most mainstream sports around.

Horrible comparison.

The NFL has a specific platform for how teams progress in the season and make it to the playoffs. This is fighting. You cant compare the sports in that context.

No, its not just a product he bought for 1 time. It is something he has bought before and has an idea of what to expect. When the next iphone was inferior the fans would let apple know.

Your attitude just seems like, "stop complaining and dont buy it" Which sounds like Dana's mentality.
