If this turns out to be true he just ruined his legacy. He will be remembered for a controversial Interim fight with Chad and a controversial Title Fight with Aldo, and ofc Diaz taking his soul (who is at best top 5 at LW). I guess it's easy to be obsessed with something when you're winning. If this is true, he might actually be one of the mentally weakest fighters in the history of this sport, rather than the mentally strongest as we've been led to believe all this time.

Think about this, even crazt ass Ronda Rousey handled her loss better if this turns out to be true. P4P Mental Midget.

Judging by your name, this revelation you've had must crush you, OP.

Not quite this you expected when you registered March 7, huh?

They are not retiring. They're getting money.

He got the belt, then he tried to move up and failed. He doesn´t care IMO, he´s got bigger things going on no doubt.

When you obsess about something you analyze it and go through each and every detail. His obsession over the Diaz match made him realize he has next to no chance of winning and he cut his losses. He came to take part, not to take over.

This sums everything up nicely

What was controversial about the Aldo fight?

Judging by the amount of threads and news about him only 10 minutes after the tweet, I'd say he pretty much did take over.

He didn't look mentally tough in the Diaz fight. He broke quickly.

He might just be embarrassed thinking about the promo for the rematch, and how there isn’t shit to say to Nate. What’s he gonna say?

I’ll get you this time Nate now you’re properly prepared?

You should check my post history. You'd be surprised.

Him and Nate will come out of retirement to fight at UFC 200.

Obsession? You actually believe that? He's been saying for awhile he was going to retire once he made his money.

If he has an injury that makes it so he can't perform at his best anymore, then you will feel stupid.

Actually, judging by your username and the fact that you think Conor vs. Aldo was controversial... maybe you won't.

He has no obession with MMA. he has obession with money, thats all he talked about and wanted. when he is broke he will come begging back, so dont worry.
