So Mcgregor admitted he didn't expect a big guy (who weighs the same) to take his FW punches like Nate did. But did McGregor admit that he didn't realize he couldn't take the punches from someone bigger than a LightWeight? Because it sure turned out that way.

Diaz weighed more than Conor by fight time. And Conor got caught with a shot he didn't see coming. Everyone gets hurt by those. It's why Aldo despite having never being knocked off his feet (apart from quickly by Chad) got knocked out cold.

At least we can put to rest this retarded talk about Conor being a good matchup for Lawler.

Wrong - mcgregor may have been bigger

It shows that Conor's limit is LW. The monsters at WW would eat him alive, and there is nothing wrong with that. Weight classes exist for a reason, your gonna run into a wall at some point. Nothing wrong in him testing his limits. He just took an ass beating to find out what that limit is.

His coach was going on about not being able to take the punches when you are tired. Conor and his coach are of the delusion that if he is more economical he wouldn't gas and would just dominate non-stop when in reality the reason he had success in the first round was two fold:
1) Nate didn't have a camp and started slow
2) Conor's onslaught was the only thing keeping the pressure fighter from overwhelming him instantly.

If Conor rematches after Nate has a full camp and tries to be "economical" with the far superior stand-up and ground fighter, he will get picked apart and choked out even faster.

Except that he was beating the shit out of Nate for most of the fight until he gassed.

Nate is not a far superior stand up fighter. He was beaten the shit out of for 7 minutes because Mcgregor is faster, more accurate and powerful. Nate has a jab and a left that he hides behind it and a slap. He landed a few shots early but nothing significant until his opponent gassed because he was headhunting, trying to get a KO in the first 2 rounds.

Conor has a left hand he spams. No jab and.... spinning shit.

Thankyou.

Don't be silly. McGregor was waking up at 168. Helwani reported that Diaz was cutting on the day and probably weighed 10 lbs more than Conor come fight time
You say that like Nate had some sort of advantage. How about Nate being unconditioned 10 days after doing tequila shots on a yacht in Cabo and not having a training camp. Conor may have given up a very slight weight disadvantage but he got to be in 100% condition and have a full camp

I fixed this for you as Nate is a LW fighter. If Conor in goes to LW he will run into Diaz again.

Are you referring to Chad Mendes vs Conor Mcgregor? Seems like you might be you just typed "Nate" instead of "Conor"
