Hats off to Bisping , I actually was going to bet on him a 100$ or so as I realize the UFC has a tendency for these things to happen literally all the time but forgot, damn it. But let's be real...

Bisping is a good fighter. Maybe even a semi-great one. His career has mostly been wins against mid tier guys but losses against top tier guys, with the exception of his last two fights. He most definitely took everybody by surprise last night in dismantling a newly crowned MW champ ( Anderson's career looks that much more impressive considering how long the last two and probably current champ have lasted ) while the result was not utterly out of the question, it is something that truly is once in a lifetime, especially considering how many damn fights Mike has had in the UFC so far.

So, looks like Jacare will get the next shot, and unless Michael pulls off a third crazy win in which he is a heavy underdog (not very likely but not ut of the question..) it looks like we will have another Brazilian champion once again. Do you believe Jacare to be a worthy champ if it happens, and if so do you think we will finally get another champ that can handle two or more defenses without blowing it?

For the record, I am very happy for Bisping. I had a feeling he would do it for some reason as well.. and am happy that he got to taste UFC gold at least once in his long career unlike another popular contendner that fought just before him last night .. But like I said with Rockhold, Bisping will be yet another one of "those guys" that held the title once and moved on.

I think Jacare would get the belt regardless who's in front of him, but until then Bisping is Champ. Have to say am happy for him even though I'm not really a fan. Was a long decade for him in UFC and he finally reached the top. I like seeing that determination and persistence.

Yeah it is amazing what those guys achieved in their respective weight classes. People here are quick to proclaim GOAT as soon as somebody wins a title but they look like morons every time the belt changes hands.

Jacare would be the favorite in my mind, but don't be so sure, Bisping has really great TDD, always has. Jacare could be forced to stand and Bisping is fast and accurate and very fit too. it would be a good fight I reckon.

i think jacare will overwhelm and outwork bisping for sure for either a 2nd round sub or tko.

Rockhold looked terrible and unfocused. I'm glad he got beat like that. Good win for bisping for coming in sharp and focused.

Jacare is a much better match up for Bisping than Rockhold or Weidman. I can see him beating him up standing and he has good TDD. But of course Jacare is dangerous. Would favor Bisping slightly at this point.
