Rousey - November
VanZant - December
Northcutt - January
McGregor - March

Don't go with:
One dimensional
Cute looking amateurs
Fighters from the UFC talent show
Weight cutters that think they can go up with a powerful left hand against little people

Diaz bros the new cash cows.
Nate vs RDA
Nick vs Robbie

Norcal all day, Europe is weak

What me and McGregor learned:

Precision beats power.
Timing beats speed.
A lucky strike can make you look good, but that doesn't hold for long.

Diaz really us teached that.

mma is very hard
and people will shit on you if you lose

nate has tons of losses too

but you can bounce back and people will like you again

what have we learned?

Stockton Mother Fucker

They really shouldnt heavily promote a fighter off the get go. Let them prove themselves then market them

I've learned Shertards are TMZ bitches.

Wait no... That has been the case since Brock joined the circus.

I learned that Holly has more heart than canner he tapped like a bitch @least Holly never quit!!""

We learned that weight classes are relevant and that the handful of fighters that can win titles in two are special.

Edit: well, the people who didn't already know it learned that.

I've learned McGregor is a real man. Owned up to his fight, his mistakes, and took the loss mature as hell. All his trash talking and asshole shenanigans were just intelligently building hype around him, the sport, and his fights. What made it so good was there seemed to be truth to a lot of what he was saying.

He was flying by the seat of his pants and trolling and loving it all. When the brakes came, he faced it as real as you can. I didn't hear any delusion or arrogance but just really analyzing his faults after the fight and not taking anything away from Nate.

Wasn't a McGregor fan much before but I didn't dislike him, either. Loved Nate's victory, but totally respect the game play before and after the fight from McGregor.

What we have learned is this

Take a look at @ZProphet_MMA's Tweet:

It's not been an easy year for dana

it's become a circus. i used to be really into this shit when they were still trying to treat it like a sport. now it's all image and what will make money and i find myself losing more and more interest.

Conor :

Improved movement and striking. Ground game is a gaping hole in his game. It was questionable after Mendes fight but now its a clear Achilles heel that everyone will aim for

Nate has plenty of losses but he bounced back easily because he didn't talk himself up to be some deity who's gonna do this and that... he just went in there and fought, and most people supported him no matter what.

That will not be so easy for Conor and Ronda.

The lesson of the day is, when you're flying that high, it's a long way down. Whoring yourself and disrespecting others for some extra cash and attention will have consequences when your luck runs out and you realize money alone wont make you content.

A great fighter can lose and that doesn't make the fighter a "can", "exposed", or a "hype train". It just means that someone else was better than that fighter on that one night.

conor is very charismatic, he fights very exciting, he's just gonna work things a bit after that humiliation

ronda, I don't like her lol

Don't challenge yourself. Don't aspire to greatness. Don't allow others to admire you. Be like everyone else and no one will be waiting to kick you while you are down.
