I can understand if it was a title defence for Khabib, but he's gonna beat a FW to win the "undisputed" LW title?

They couldn't find one LW that was prepared to go, given how cursed this match up has been?

This has to be an April fool's.

exactly what i was thinking there is rly no one else at LW who can fight for the title except the FW champ? That or april fool I dont know....

Khabib will do as he has always done, beat the living crap out of anybody that has the balls to fight him. That would have been Tony but he has lost his balls.

Eddie has one win since losing the title and has refused to fight Khabib before

Khabib just beat Edson

Gaethje is coming off of a loss

Lee is coming off of a loss

Dustin is booked and frankly not even remotely a threat

Nate has ducked Khabib 3 times already and is basically retired

Who the fuck is he supposed to fight?!
 
This site is so fucked for April fools but this year is pushing it if it’s a joke.
 
To be fair, there aren't really any other LW's who deserve a shot at the belt. I guess you could make a case for Poirier or Alvarez but none of those matchups are that exciting. I think Max has a better chance of competing with Khabib than any LW. A healthy Max at least... coming off the ankle injury without a training camp, his chances are pretty slim. But it's a still a more exciting matchup for Khabib than any LW not named Tony or Conor.

I'm surprised Eddie wouldn't fight him, even for the LW title. I actually give Eddie the best chance at LW against Khabib.

The were supposed to fight at 205 but Eddie ducked Khabib in favor of Conor. I'd say he got what was coming to him.

Eddie's clinch game is weak and his TDD works best in the center of the cage. I think he recognizes that Khabib plays to a few of his weaknesses and has wanted to avoid that fight until he feels ready. Definitely wants no part of that with no prep time.

I know....But is that really a just cause? He should be fighting, nobody else. Why is the UFC O.K. with this shit? (I know it's about the money).
