and now he wants to fight GSP next?

How about you fight the people in your division? The most talent stacked division in MMA.

Defend your paper belt a few times before calling out GSP for a superfight

"You have fake belt tony you beat #7 guy, Kevin Lee for belt you are not real champion"

Khabib "bus strength" Napanerdcockoff

Conor beat 3-1 (2 split decisions) Eddie Alvarez
Al Iaquinta was 5-0 in his last 5

In his defense it feels like no one wants to fight him.

Khabib/Tony is still the obvious fight to make... even if they've tried it a dozen times already

How long ago did Al's fights occur and what were his opponents' rankings at the time?

Context, m8.

Just lol.

I agree with what you’re saying but at least the new champion is looking to fight. GSP does not deserve to fight for the strap but he is the most dangerous fight Khabib could take at LW. It is kind of refreshing after what we have had to deal with.

That is because fighters do not go down in rank for being inactive or refusing fights.

not his fault the rest of the division would rather get injured or arrested instead of fighting him

He had to fight Al because everyone suddenly had a 'freak injury' or was ruled out or wanted too much or blah blah blah.

Guy has pussified his division already. He wants Georges because he knows GSP ain't the man he used to be but the Canadian chose Bisping because he knew he could win. He's not taking the Khabib fight because Khabib is better than he was at his prime at wrestling and Georges isn't dumb enough to have video of himself getting his ass handed to him at his specialty.

These days you fight who shows up. Al showed up. Khabib dominated him. If the lineal champ doesn’t want to fight and the interim doesn’t make it to the cage, what can Khabib do about that?

I agree though about the GSP thing. Fuck that, if GSP comes down and fights a contender or two and earns the right to fight Khabib then fine. Otherwise, let’s stop holding up divisions.

First of all it's a bullshit fight to have at LW. Khabib can make 170 alot easier than GSP can make 155.

Secondly, I don't find it refreshing at all. He can say he wants to fight but until it actually happens its just words. He should be calling out Conor or Lee, or some other LW

Unlike Conor, Khabib has been cleaning out the division, then got the title

Tony is the only legit one left, and he is coming off a knee injury. He will lose against Khabib 1000%.

Let him have an easy tune up... give him Al :D Then he can fight Khabib when he is 100% healthy and comfortable in the octagon.

I really don't see a point in sacrificing Tony.

Then there's Conor... but his future is uncertain...

Yeah, and Tony beat #7 Kevin Lee (best win Chiesa)

And Conor beat Alvarez ( got a tittle shot vs dehydrated RDA because in his last 3 fights lost to Cerrone, and Split decision vs washed Melendez and Pettis)

From what I saw last night Alvarez is next for Khabib. He matches up well and has alot of heart. Khabib looked beatable.
