So it was the UFC who pulled Conor...

Wrong. He retired before they sent that. Conor get the first report in.

Interesting. Must have been a bitter negotiation for them to word it like that.

Maybe he holds out until the MSG show.

ufc always spreading lies to the fans lol, just business as usual.

There's clearly a dispute between them here. Not about injury or testing or anything. The fact Conor said he was hungry like day 1 just a couple of days ago suggests something has broken down between the UFC and Conor, and the wording from the UFC is very interesting.

I think that reporter saying Conor asked for 10 million and the UFC refusing is probably closer to the truth.

It's like a when you're about to get fired, you quit situation

Or when you hear "we need to talk" you change your number

I feel like Conor is trying to get as much out of negotiations to create a comfortable nest egg because he intends to leave the sport behind pretty soon.

I bet he rage quit. He'll be back, I hope.

I'm sure he will return. But not for 200. He thought he was bigger than the promotion. Conor left them no choice and they said no. So it sounds like he then took his ball and went home.

Missing out on that 200 cheddar Conor. Very nice.

Won't be any cheddar without Rousey or Conor on it.

WTF? all this stuf is real?.. but I wanted to see Nate choking Conor again!!!!

So the UFC is a part of this fake drama then. They must be desperate to drum up interest in UFC 200 to have their fighters pulling this fake WWE stuff.

Not true, imo. The event itself should be a big draw if they promote it right (just as their big draws are just the ones they chose to give a push)

he couldn't handle being put in front of Diaz and not having shit it to say. Diaz broke that foo.

Connor wants more money, UFC told him no, he threatened to walk, they said do it, so he's saying he's doing it. Now the UFC says they're pulling him from the card and in control. It will be interesting to see who breaks first here.

My guess:

- Conor didn't want to attend the press conference, partly because of the verbal beatdown Nate would lay on him and he won't be able to be his 'notorious self'

- UFC got pissed pulled him off the UFC 200 card

- Conor retires so UFC plays ball and lets him back on the card
