I hate this fight from a rankings standpoint. If Holloway wins he's still in the same boat behind Mcgregor and Aldo/Edgar for the title. If Mendes wins he still has 4 combined losses against the top 3 in the division and is still a few fights away from another title shot. Mendes needs a tuneup fight against a lower ranked guy and Holloway should either fight the loser of Aldo/Edgar or just wait on the sidelines for his turn.
