One thing that really used to piss me off is when i had a pc that I put song on my ipod from and a friend would have a mac with songs that i wanted to get the only way to add them was to delete all my songs off the ipod so it could "sync".

I bought a new mac and figured that id start over with all my songs to put on my ipod and have to delete all the existing ones, but luckily i was able to add the songs on the new mac to my ipod with no problems.

For how long has this been possible?

It was Jobs' dying wish for better compatibility between Mac and Windows. To start setting aside their differences and come together to increase user friendliness for 21st century society

2 days later they made the changes to iTunes

Then how are you supposed to get music on your IPhone?

Don't know about iPhone but I have been using MediaMonkey to synchronize music to my iPod for years. Simple but effective.

Itunes blows and always will blow. Works for like a month, then I try to drag songs into the library and it won't let me do it.

I use Copy Trans, which is free, for Windows for my iPhone. It allows one to add/delete tracks/videos without iTunes.

I have since switched to Android, which allows drag and drop. I upload my music to Google Play and stream it.

Sharepod was what I used to use. Now I have a galaxy S3 so they cant hols me down no mo'
