So, how would Oliviera do vs Khabib?

BJJ rookie Porier almost subbed Khabib. Imagine what Oliveira does to him. It would be worse than against Tony

Khabib leaves Oliviera looking like this:

rookie? he is a black belt lol. the stupidity on these forums is mind blowing.

Khabib would absolutely dominate Oliveira and make look like a newb, just like you make yourself look with these type of comments.

In comparison to Oliveria he is a rookie. He isnt even known for his submissions. Oliveira is lvls above Poirier in terms of BJJ.

Khabib would win, but, it would be an interesting matchup.

like i said you are a newb. They have different styles of fighting. Poirier has 13 yeas of bjj training under his belt and is a black belt. I don't see anything special with Oliveira's bjj. To Khabib his grappling level is rookie level of resistance. He would be dominated like the rest.

Not well. I like Oli a lot but that’s a different level of grappling. He looks great against great opposition but he’s never experienced that sort of strength and technique before.

So you're logic is that if you get something wrong that everything else you ever say/do will also be wrong?
{<huh}
Khabib is just so damn strong. He would easily get takedowns and stay on top it's pretty clear

Charles is good enough that he could probably avoid getting completely mauled. Would likely be a boring fight with Khabib on top if i had to guess, making him the winner.

And honestly he sort of has a tendency to give up when things aren't going his way. He might get finished

Charles has improved greatly, I would give him that. But he has 8 losses on his record, albeit some of them at a lower weight class. He also has good BJJ, but i just don't see anything that can potentially give the eagle any trouble.

BJJ alone cannot beat Khabib, who has beaten multiple well-accomplished black belts. Khabib's Sambo is too much for these dudes.

Very intriguing match up. Perhaps this is the LW version of Fedor vs Werdum.

Well then someone could say compared to Khabib Oliveria is a rookie. Really Stupid argument mate.

This could be like werdum vs fedor

Underdog Brazilian with good submissions submits undefeated Russian

I think it’s an interesting fight. It’s not like others haven’t slapped submission attempts on Khabib. I’d like to see how a high caliber BJJ artist would do against that much top pressure.
....poirier's a black belt BJJ
RDA too...

He'll have interesting moments, some nice positions, but he'll ultimately get mauled. It's unfortunate. I actually like him. He's the perfect underdog story. But i can't see his grappling offsetting khabib's own. I don't know why, i know it's totally fake and would never ever ever happen irl. But i can't shake that clip of khabib slammimg oliveira as an armbar escape from that ufc 4 trailer.

I'd favour Khabib but I'd love to see it.

Oliveira prob has the advantage on the feet but I'd expect Khabib to put him on his back. Question becomes can Khabib avoid a sweep or sub from the bottom.. It would be fascinating

Better than the rest of the top 10 but ultimately fall short

Yep. I think it would come down to conditioning to be honest, and I don't think he can match khabib in that area. Charles has surprised me, though. He used to seem mentally weak, but his confidence and patience in recent years have improved a lot. When both of these guys are fresh though, it would be a very interesting fight.

That said, I truly think Khabib is retired. I hope Do Bronx's next fight is for the belt.
