Will he lose fans, popularity or other way round. Gain more fame and business opportunities.

Man, he is entertaining as hell. I feel like his assets will only increase after this. There will be some sacrifices on his side but look whats going on right now, entire world is talking about him. Sherdog went bananas, thread after thread after thread about Mcgregor.

Even Bones didn't get this much attention.

Its sad there are people who like this crap and find it appealing. Maybe I'm just an old fart; but when it comes to MMA I prefer just good fighters and marital artists who fight regularly, are good fighters, and just show up when called upon to perform. Frankie Edgar is a prime example of a consistently good and reliable elite fighter. When that guy is scheduled to fight, I know he will show up and perform.

None of these antics have any appeal to me whatsoever.

He may lose fans but those same people will still buy his fights.

The publicity helps in almost every circumstance, but not if you're not legally able to fight. So crossing the line to actually committing illegal acts was not smart.

I like it both actually. I like good fights and I like this shit outside of MMA too. I used to have neutral attitude to Mcgregor but I start to like him. Yes, I do like this kind of thing.

He'll be more of a draw. Sure more people will hate him, so now they'll pay $$ to see him lose.

He went from 100 Leverage to 0 leverage.

His license is going to be suspended, which means he will be under current UFC contract for even longer.

He's also got no bargaining power left, since he's at this point: a liability.

He would be lucky if the UFC offers him the same contract to fight. They have enough going to sue the shit out of him for fucking up their event and injuring their fighters etc... Most likely there will be a settlement where Conor HAS to fight, and it will likely be for less money than before

To each his own, but I'll never understand why. Antics like that are so dull and boring to me. I dont mind trash talk, but only when its funny, like the dumb stuff Chael would say or when Ali would taunt Frazier, etc.

Yea I think we'll be seeing him fight a lot more with less 'negotiation downtime'. A good thing IMO
