So how does the Jon Jones saga end?

It ends with him being remembered as the greatest MMA fighter to ever grace the cage and he will retire happily ever after and come back from time to time to spread smiles and good will with the next generations of fighters on promotional telecasts. The fighters when asked about Goat will say his name with pride and conviction.

….now here the same sect of Sherdoggers will seethe until the day they die with an unyielding fever and hate for the best to ever do it. Unfortunately for them it will be in this echo chamber that the rest of the MMA world will not care about.
pretty much this
the best and hardest resume
3 generations of fighters he wiped out
only fighter to fight non testing era and usada era and still became a force

no memes of him getting kod or submitted
even the worst version of him cant be beaten

basicaly facts doesnt care about a fanboy or haters feelings or opinions

his life outside of fighting is a catastrophe, so probably dead in a really stupid and preventable way

He can't fight any HW contenders lol so vacate, sit out until Tom loses. Maybe the best ever but not the bravest.

What about the memes of him crying, or banging his head on a police car, or being sus and zesty af in the comedy club.

When a man hits a woman, like he has, and scared his children to the point where they called 911, it doesn't matter how many men he beat up in the octagon.

He's a waste man hiding in the closet

I don’t care.
I just wish he never switched to HW and wasted everyone’s time. He should have stayed LHW goat and could have racked up 10 more defenses in the last 5+ years. And given the competition, I think he could have done it.

He's going to stall so he can break the record for longest reigning HW champ without fighting again, announce some career ending injury, and then grift somewhere for a while before going out on some alcohol/drug bender.

Jon will fight again and get a HUGEEE win against a much larger stronger younger and faster opponent... (but of course then the director says "CUT, print that." THen jon goes back to his studio lot trailer and does more lines till he's called up again for his next scene. He does a few of these till his next legal run turns him into PR poison for the studio so it puts an end to that gig. Then maybe he goes into a trainer role and produces no proteges that sniff anywhere near a title in a major org, because you can't really teach reach, weight, & youth bullying by a decade against bloated up middleweights in your heavyweight frame duck cut to LHW)

Captain herb has created 70+ Jon jones hate threads in a row since 2020. ( no joke, check his thread history, Jon Jones is the only thing he makes threads about)

that level of derangement about one fighter Is bordering on mental illness.
Lol I guess you don't know the difference between a post and a thread. Besides if a thread isn't knob slobbering Jones you think it's "hate". If my opinions slant against Jones it's because he's done something to deserve it. Anyway, as far as I can tell your posts blow, your user name is goofy and your avatar is weak. I don't search anyone's shit or block people, I'm just here to talk mma bro, I don't get dragged into interpersonal drama if I can help it

Ok Stan. You've probably posted in every Jon Jones thread I've ever come across. And your Jon Jones posts are frequently long-winded diatribes on why Jon Jones is a gentleman and a scholar, and anyone with a valid criticism of him is 'mentally ill'. You've typed tens of thousands more words about Jon Jones than this guy has, so spare us the 'deranged' talk.

It's all good, same here. I didn't mean to come for you like that, just more so point out that this level of investment isn't mentally healthy. Was just in a bit of a toxic mood.

Although they were in fact threads. It Is what it is though, I'll leave that be, as mentioning it doesn't really add anything constructive.

Sitting out for three years... Then fighting Ngannou on some mega card put on by the Saudi King.
Despite the narrative Dana is trying to push no one in the mainstream cares about, or even knows who Aspinall is nor should they as he has done little to warrant it at this point.

As Jones says "he is another random" a random on a good winning streak, but a random nonetheless.

Ngannou is the fight to make, and a Saudi prince can make it happen and the perfect final fight to end Jones career.

I don't get what's going on with it.

But started wondering, does keeping the belt on Jones make it harder for him to become a free agent after an extended period of time? As letting him remain champ just doesn't make a lot of sense to me without there being some hidden reason.

The Jon Jones saga is already over. He’s the goat. He can retire now or beat Tom then retire. Makes no difference. Either way he will be the goat and nobody will remember Tommy boy in 5 years.
