Maybe one more fight against someone like Gonzaga, but it's safe to say that Mir should hang em up soon.

No just rematch Barnett

after reem beats arlovski mir can fight the pitbull no chance of retiring said before fight he thinks he has 5-10 years left in him im sure he will rationalize the loss as a lucky punch and get back in the gym preppin for his next fight

Please retire Mir, if you have to have one more fight to end on a good note then so be it.

I'd love to see him retire on a win and there are still many match ups he could do just that on.

maybe hit the drawing board and test out Bellator...

Retire? Are you people retarded? Mir has looked better than ever lately, he just ran into an animal in Hunt-o. No retirement for Murrrrrr, Barnett Rematch.

It always annoys me how fans of the sport are always calling for fighters to retire. Just because you don't feel Mir has a chance at a title, doesn't mean Mir should halt his primary source of income. People will still pay to watch him fight, and he's not even absorbing extreme amounts of damage in his defeats. Maybe he will retire. Maybe he will just become a fond memory for you. Mir and fighters like him are what we had before this beige swash of MMA fighters came into the fray - ones that are good at everything but amazing at nothing. Mir is a HW capable of taking limbs and I don't want to see him hang them up. I agree that he shouldn't be headlining cards though.

No shame in losing to Hunt in your last fight. He'll decide and ultimately I think he'll be back to try and get a win.

Like two years ago. He's can get a job as a commentator or work for fox sports or something. He's been ko'd 9 times now, all brutal as fuck. Why risk the continued brain damage when he will not be anywhere near a top fighter?

I think people that are calling for him to retire are fans who are generally concerned for his well being. Frank has taken a significant amount of damage is his career.

True MIR has looked good his past couple and HUNT is on the way up no doubt. MIR should have a couple of fights left in him but wish his conditioning would improve, in other words turn up in better condition please. Its embarrassing for the sport when there are slobs weighing in on what is a pro sport.

I'd say yes. Maybe one more, another if he wins that because of the lack of depth in the division.

I hear ya but being 2 and 6 in his last 8 and being slept 3 times out of those begs to differ. He's got a great career ahead of him calling fights and on UFC tonight etc. Dude's killer at it.

No I want to see him get KOed again

No clue why so many people want him to retire. He ran into the hardest hitter in the UFC, let's not act like this was some knockout because he's chinny, he got hit on the temple by a huge Samoan that throws fucking heat.

The Barnett KO is the only KO he's suffered recently that wasn't by a guy that throws absolute bombs. JDS/Hunt/Carwin can pretty much KO an elephant, so whatever.
