Joanna has went on a crusade to convince the world JJ quit and just gave Tatiana the victory.

So what is your opinion did JJ quit?

Even if she did the whole thing strikes me as just Joanna being bitter more than anything. I was a big fan going in to the show and now I'm not so sure. I hope she turns it all around but right now she's really Ronda-ing the pooch a bit...

Yeah seems everyone I've talked to admits Tatiana won because of technique, size and skill.

JJ is not the type to "quit."

Also being labeled a quitter in MMA this early into her MMA career could derail JJ.

Shelby is less likely to sign or give another fight on the finale to a "quitter."

IMO Joanna is severely harming JJ's career with the rhetoric that she has spewed since this episode aired.

She didn't quit... She got dominated & had no answers. So if that means she quit, then sure...

TUF has a strange propensity to make plenty of people look bad

...Except for this guy

This. So every fighter who gets dominated and loses is a "quitter" now?? It's ridiculous. Joanna sounds like a whiney little baby. Then she goes on to say "I would have sprawled and punched her".....well no $hit! you are the champ of that division, I'd expect you to have a little more skill than someone on TUF.

From what I've gathered from analysts talking about it, Joanna's technique of incorporating strikes into her sprawls is a special skill of hers. Did Joanna bother to train JJ in that technique, knowing she was facing a wrestler? We haven't heard Joanna say that she did. She didn't say: Why didn't JJ incorporate strikes into her sprawls like I trained her to do? She just said that this was what she would've done in that situation. It seems to me that being legitimately angry over JJ not doing it depends on whether Joanna and her coaches trained her to do it or not.

the very last thing aldrich did was quit, thats just joanna pissed cos she lost 2 in a row, who knows if its 3 in a row she could go full rousey

whatever happened to him, he was doing ok then he got a beatin from someone, cant remember who, hes probably teachin yoga to milfs somewhere

Kind of fucked up that he got cut looking back on it. He dropped two in a row to Oliveira & Poirier...those guys are doing pretty darn good now.

the training segments showed JJ practicing a lot of sprawling stuff, including defending a takedown while against the cage while elbowing (kinda like KK was doing the other day), and at one point kneeing her sparring partner in the gut and dropping her whilst practicing takedown defence in the middle of the cage. I'd guess it's safe to assume they trained stuff like that.

Saying is one thing and doing is another, of course, after all, Joanna hasn't had a wrestler as good as Suarez trying to take her down herself. Suarez won 2x world championship bronzes, the first at age 18, and in the second aged 22 she lost only to the winner, so it's conceivable that on her best day Suarez was the #2 wrestler in that category in the entire world, with a good few years of development still to come (had she not got cancer).

so long as those milfs are wearing reebok yoga pants...

Last I saw he dropped to 125 and was trying to beat people without punching them because he didn't like the violence or hurting people.
