Let me lay down some facts:

1) Tony's on a 10 fight winning streak at LW, Conor has a 1 fight winning streak at LW.
2) Tony grinded his way up the LW ranks while Conor was gifted a LW shot.
3) ALL the LW fighters consider Tony the champ
4) And worst of all... Conor's refusing to fight the LW interim champ, and making him defend against his other competitors like Khabib, and basically doing his work for him. bruh, you got gifted a title shot at LW.... great, but at least just defend the belt.

I would call Conor the champ if all but 4) was true. but the fact that Conor wont defend his belt against Tony, who should have been given the title shot over Conor against Eddie is just tooo much.


I consider Tony the real champ.

I just don't think he beats Conor, he's struggled with much worse fighters, a staph infected Kevin Lee gave him real problems, he's not often come across as a dominant fighter, he's powered through adversity and he's fucking great but I just don't think he has anything for Conor, I think the holes that others have exposed will be capitalised on by Conor.
