So do you believe Joanna's weight cut problem in the first fight now?

I mean she lasted longer but still was getting rocked.

What's not to believe? She clearly had a terrible cut for the first fight. Obviously it didn't change the eventual outcome, but its not unreasonable to think that she was affected the first time if she says she was. She also performed a lot better.

I do. Even still, Rose has proved herself to be the better fighter. It has to be said.

absolutely not

I believe that she had issues cutting weight.
But I don't think it was the only determinant factor she lost.
IMHO Rose just showed how much she improved her standup. But it took the second fight to show us that.

Who cares, she's a delusional whiner.

How many media obligations did she have on the week of the first fight?

If more than what she had to do for the rematch, then I'd say "YES".

Well first fight she was easily knocked out, second fight she took all the hard shots, did she win? No, but it was obviously a factor when you compare the two fights.

People like Joanna need to have an excuse when they lose, it allows them to think they could have won the fight but for this one problem.....and it was not the fact she blocked a lot of punches to her face. She might have had a bad weight cut, but if she won we never would have heard a word about it.

I could believe she had a bad weight cut, but I think the real issue is she wasn't ready for Rose and got caught off guard.

If weight cutting affects your chin. Then DC has the GOAT chin.

Not at all

All of them have terrible weight cuts

I'm sure Rose also had a tough time

Who cares really. Fighters who cut huge amounts of weight do so to try and give themselves an advantage over smaller opponents. If this backfires then tough.

Plus a lot of these fighters are still trying to cut the same amount of weight as they were before USADA came onto the scene lol.

She could definitely take the shots on the chin more so it probably played a factor of why she was finished so easy. That plus the fact that she was caught by surprise/ Underestimated rose.

I believe she had a bad weight cut, but fighters have bad weight cuts all the time. It's just the excuse she clung to.
