I just watched Embedded and noticed that Cruz has a noticeable limp when he walks. He tries to hide it on camera, but slips up occasionally. I was actually gonna make a thread talking about how we finally get to see him fight two times in a year. We still are, so far, but he doesn't seem near 100%

I then expected to come here seeing some big ass thread about it, but nothing. Kinda a big deal since not only is he the champ but also a HUGE betting favorite right now. This sucks for me because he's one of my favorite fighters.

Looks like he is planning on dragging that bum body to the cage for one last pay day.

You might be on to something, but he could just be wicked sore...*fingers crossed*

I was going to say something sarcastic about footwork not being an important part of his game, but this honestly distresses me.

He's been injured and on the sidelines so often that I think he would fight way more hurt than the average fighter. I hope it doesn't affect him. He's my number three pound for pound fighter, and he still hasn't carved out his place in history yet.

Why you hatin on his swagger? He's got a little hop in his step, that's all.

Nah, he's limping. Dang. Unless he just always walks like that.

This makes me feel a little better, but he could just be toughing through it there.
Even if something is wrong, he wont let it bother him. He's gone through worse obviously, haha. Guy is unbelievably mentally strong. He could have just been sore that day...or walking weird for some reason, lol. That's the only time i've seen him look a little off since he's been training for this fight.

I just watched episode 3. Luke Rockhold's mom is pretty foxy. Will watch episode 4 now.

I can't tell if Cruz is limping or just walking awkwardly.

He only needs one leg to beat Faber.

Probably.

The beauty gene runs in his family. Here's a photo of young Luke with his father, who's a splitting image of him.

He has Plantar Fasciitis. It's pretty common for someone with that condition to limp a little after prolonged workouts.

Plantar fasciitis (PLAN-tur fas-e-I-tis) is one of the most common causes of heel pain. It involves pain and inflammation of a thick band of tissue, called the plantar fascia, that runs across the bottom of your foot and connects your heel bone to your toes.

Plantar fasciitis commonly causes stabbing pain that usually occurs with your very first steps in the morning. Once your foot limbers up, the pain of plantar fasciitis normally decreases, but it may return after long periods of standing or after getting up from a seated position.

Plantar fasciitis is particularly common in runners. In addition, people who are overweight and those who wear shoes with inadequate support are at risk of plantar fasciitis.

There is also this. So it's most likely the soreness & he just was walking gingerly to keep things unstressed.

Having had surgery in both my knees, I sometimes walk funny because it did once and sometimes I slip back into it because of muscle memory etc

But he could be playing the GOATEST of all time as well...

There's a pic of his hand floating around out there right now that's making people say he broke his hand now too.

Can't find it atm but it was from UFC tonight yesterday and there was a swelling between his pointer and middle fingers.
