You think fighters who might have been entertaining a huge fight like that saw what happened with Conor and are like "No way man".

I hope not because that would be awesome.

Dos Anjos just said he'd be willing to fight Lawler. He's not Dana's golden boy, though, so I doubt he'll get the fight.

No way, I think there will be even more now.

Cruz vs. Mcgregor at FW would be an awesome fight
Jones vs. any HWT

I wish Gustafsson would bump up to HWT.

Conor just didn't have a skill set that translated against a bigger opponent. It's not like that's the case for every fighter now.

RDA would be smaller at WW than conor.

Lol don't be silly m8, besides about a half an inch in height and a slight reach advantage you would be crazy to compare Conor's build to RDAs the dude is solid.

Plus RDA looks like he follows a strict diet and goes into overdrive with Nick Curson just to maintain a healthy cut to 155.

I think he has the frame to out on more lean weight and would make a decent sized WW imo

I think the Conor loss showed that having a L on your record is less meaningful on your record than MMA fans thought, if you are willing to step up and do remarkable things. You don't need a perfect record, for as long as you set yourself apart from the flock. Its high risk, but high reward.

Top tier fighters have a moderately decent BJJ skillset so no, I don't think they're that scared.

Conors bjj had absolutely nothing to do with his loss. A white belt could have tapped him out in the state he was in. His shitty cardio led to his loss. He would have been knocked out if he didn't go for that desperate takedown.

>absolutely nothing

into the trash you go

along with Conor's BJJ credentials

Yes absolutely nothing. Your stand-up or bjj credentials means nothing when you are a zombie.

"a zombie"

Uh huh. Was he a zombie when Duffy submitted him in 40 seconds? Or when 2 weeks notice Mendes smashed the fuck out of him for 2 rounds before he inevitably gassed?

Also, pictured: A zombie who's skills supposedly completely went out of the window because he was hurt and/or tired. Oh wait.

Most fighters only want to focus on their divisions. Takes a lot of work to get to that title and hold on to it. Chasing another division without making it a permanent move is a risk to your career that most don't want to take. Aldo had been talking about it, Jones, GSP but of course it has never materialized. You have a small window of opportunity to make your money in this business and a loss can set you back tremendously. There's not a lot of guys like Conor and Chael with that charisma to be able to make their own brand and get it to snowball. Lot of risk, maybe not enough reward in most fighters eyes.

You are way too dumb to get my point. I never defended his bjj skills. His bjj could have been great and yet the result would have been the same. This does not mean that I am saying he lost because of his cardio and his bjj is great rather his bjj is not the cause of his loss. His stand-up was clearly better than Diaz but he would have been knocked out as well.

If it really did break all records, considering the lame press conf with a bunch of stars trashtalking like Conor, maybe more fighters will ask for super fights to try to sell more PPVs.

look at pictures of the two of them at press conferences. Conor is the bigger man between the two.

Once again you prove to be devoid of understanding anything logical. Did you even watch the fight idiot? How is it even debatable that Diaz was better than conor at the stand-up? Diaz landing his shots consistently after conor gassed out doesn't mean his stand-up is better, it just proves my point that superior stand-up or bjj doesn't even matter after a fighter is badly gassed.
