So Alex sucks now?

He beat Izzy 3 times and still gave him an instant rematch. Pretty simple.

Champions like Anderson, Aldo, Mighty Mouse, Jones, Nunes, Joanna, Usman, GSP, Stipe & Izzy should get the instant rematch whoever they lose to.

Someone losing the belt in their first title defence should win at least one before the rematch IMO. Otherwise we'd have rematches and trilogy fights just all the fucking time... even more than now.

Yes. He lost one fight therefore he's a can and I never liked him*

*unless he beats Izzy in the rematch, in which case he's the GOAT.

Why are his fans so intent on getting an immediate title rematch?

If he's the Poatan like you all claim, it should be no problem for him to climb his way back to title contention.

He's actually a good fighter. He doesn't need all this charity. He's had enough already. The hometown ref, the fast tracked to a title shot after 3 fights, the bell ringing right when he got his bell rung...

The details always elude the sherdoggers...

Izzy got the immediate rematch off him being the long time champ, having a crazy schedule, ducking no one, and putting on a close 5 round war with Alex. Its the privilege you get when you work your ass off for the UFC

Alex has been nothing but a charity case with everything handed to him, including an ass whopping culminating in being knocked out in front of the world.

Now he probably has to actually work for his title rematch, and that for some reason seems to terrify his fans.

If hes so good like you all claim he is, he can climb back into contention easy right?
that's the fight people wanna see, that fucking simple!

No, it's 'Alex was never that good.'

That's how you say it when a fighter, especially a champion loses one whole fight.
Problem is, at LHW, someone is going to wrestle him. Watch him get subbed by Sherdog darling Anthony Smith.
Life would seem worthless then.

Yep never was any good, just got lucky several times...tis the Sherdog way!

1-3.

That's why.

1-1, that's also why.
...okay? And? Why does that mean we should force Izzy to wait for Alex again? Why does that mean Alex can't fight a contender and earn his shot?

Go ahead, explain it. Oh but wait that's not as easy as posting a couple of numbers, is it?

How many champions lost to the same guy 3 times? Enough for it to happen "all the fucking time"?

If he stays at 185 then feed him to Khamzat.

The winner then gets a title shot.

If he moves up to 205, give him the title shot against Hill.

If he wins, he gets the rematch.

Simple.

If Pereira had legitimately fought his way up as a fan I would be demanding a rematch. Since he got hand carried ONLY off the basis of his kickboxing matches with Izzy and yet wound up stretched and starched yeah fuck that shit. No. Sherdogs desire to see Izzy beat is another Reyes moment. The new Pereira crowd is the old Reyes crowd. Facts

I mean you haven't realized by now how dumb the average poster on this forum is? They can barely form a sentence and yet have 50 words for the word old. If you're trying to gain any type of insight into a fight by smart people debating things like styles, injuries, reach, techniques, previous matches you're in the wrong place, they aren't smart enough. Their only social interactions are on Tik Tok so the only thing you can count on is these virgins to check every fighters age and that is the sole reason someone loses. Pereira lost because he is an ancient old man fossil uncle geriatic retirement home dinosaur.

I mean its super creepy, I read some post where some loser spent like 20 hours researching the age of every opponent Stipe fought, and that was the reason he won. Their winnings streaks, styles, injuries, records going into the fight meant nothing. So yes despite the fact Pereira was dominating Adesanya, had him seriously hurt, especially to the legs, and was about to finish him, Alex sucks now because Adesanya landed a punch so looping it went over his own head and exposed his chin so open it was almost embarrassing. And then they checked the age statistics and it added up so Pereira has no chance anymore.

Yet you reciprocate by writing lengthy replies to the demented? You sound WACKO mate.

That’s actually one of the first times I saw a fighter lose and people still think he is as good as he was before

And what do you know....

Weasle puts out a video saying near exact the same thing as me

Alex is going to 205 so you don't need to stress over this.

He's good. His rivalry with Izzy should be over now. Let him bang at his real weight class.

I don’t get why people are getting so emotional about this rivalry. Both have proven that they can finish the other guy, so in future fights, it’s all about who comes in healthy and is in the zone on the night. All this gum-flapping and claims of absolute victory (by proxy) are pointless and embarrassing.

He only lost to Pereira once in MMA / as a champion / in the UFC. You know you're reaching with that comment.
