First off nothing I said was an opinion but things that transpired.
Second I stated I was speaking on the first eye poke, not the punch that Colby said was an eye poke but the first one that caused hemorrhaging in the eye that e red didn’t stop for. Usman for two or three minutes following garnered an advantage in that round.
Which eye poke was that? Which round? Because the one that messed up his eye was the punch at the end of round 3. It was the one he complained about but the ref didn't stop for. It was also the exchange where people think his jaw was broken. It was also a punch that hit his eye.
I think the nut shot was questionable...but there is nothing to indicate we shouldn't believe Usman....
And yet when Colby knows he stuck his fingers in Usman's eye, he was acting like Usman was lying..even though he knew he wasn't..we know FACTUALLY he poked him in the eye. We also know Colby acted like he got poked in the eye when he didn't...and he knew that. Who is the guy we should believe?
When it comes to the illegal hits to the back of the head...didn't see it...they might've glanced across the back from the side...as that happens in MANY MANY MMA fights and they're never called....and you can argue they shouldn't be..in fact, given how frequently it happens, it obviously is legal. Either way, this is an opinion, not a fact.
You've also raised other things such as Colby was ahead...and factually he was ahead...and while people love to try to objectify scoring which is entirely subjective, it just isn't possible...it is an attempt to make something subjective, objective...it does not make it objective.
The only facts we have are Usman was ahead 3-1, Colby was ahead 3-1 and they were tied 2-2 on the judges scorecard...your opinion doesn't matter...no metric you use matters..the only fact is what the judges had scored it.
I thought it was a great fight..both guys are great fighters.....I'd love to see them run it back....
