Kind of embarrassing for the org though lol

I've never seen any of this, but I feel like seeing a guy who was too small for LHW in the UFC, on an embarrassing winless streak, and who should be picked apart by an upper-level striker, win a "heavyweight" (205lb limit, apparently) striking title against a guy significantly smaller than him, tells me all I need to know.

Haha I just watched this fight yesterday. Good on Sam Alvey, I've been watching him since the TUF days and he's always seemed like a cool fella

its pretty awesome to see. after leaving the UFC Sam's won all 3 of his fights. now he's Karate Combat HW champ. just goes to show you a person's fortunes can change so suddenly.

People need to learn the worst players in pro sports leagues are still unicorns who'd dominate lesser competition.
