Small underrated skills

I can split, fill, and roll a blunt with no blades or sharp thumbnail gimmicks

I know a 43 year old who still empties and stuffs black n milds, like a fucking middle schooler
does he freak em tho? gotta get that filter paper shit out

and why don't you carry a blade

He freaks them at least, and I usually have a pocket knife on me but I just use pressure and push the guts up through the cigar

For me it's typing.

My high school offered a typing class and I took it just because I thought it would be easy. But I'm so glad I did. The ability to type 60 wpm without looking at the keyboard has made me so much faster at getting work done.

My Dad had a pretty cool "small" skill too. He worked with tools a lot and he could look at a bolt and instantly know what size it was. I always have to try 3 different wrenches before I find the right one which is why jobs take me way longer.

What little underrated skills do you possess that have saved you a ton of time/effort?
Knot tying. There are so many and peeps that know how can use a good knot for just about anything.

Never done a typing course but did do a data entry test once.

11,000+ kph (key strokes per hour) with 100% accuracy. Which seriously impressed the people giving me the test, but upon reflection 3kps isn't that impressive. Probably quicker now though

My typing is quick but riddled with errors, but i don't fuck with the numbers.

Well with the keyboard 20 years of foruming has honed my keyboard skills for sure, I thought I wasted that time!

I'm a real bad motherfucker and I can wheel both the recycling bin and the rubbish bin out at once on bin night, makes the other women in the court weak at the knees (not my wife unfortunately)

General maintenance, lawn care, operating heavy equipment, and marksman/outdoorsman. I also type around 60 WPM.
Knife sharpening.
I have a whole sharpening kit that I need to pull out and refine my skills. Do you use multiple stones?

Multiple stones for my premium knives, 400,1000, 3000.
Sharpmaker and some cheap combo stone from the local hardware store for my beater blades create an edge that works.

Multitasking and being quick and efficient with any physical task

Being a good listener

Good communication/ likeable communication. Meaning people will have a favorable opinion of you fairly quickly and at a minimum not many will hate you

And most importantly of all....work ethic. Lazy people suck at everything. Or even if they are good at something you could only imagine how great they could be if they did it like it mattered.
Don't forget the narcissism!

falling down skills/ukemi
-could prevent thousands of injuries every year

i did a typing test yesterday on account of this thread and got 70. I thought i was prevent fast already, there's homies typing at 80+? yeeesssh

Took a typing class in high school my freshman year. Probably the only thing I learned that I use daily.

10 key by touch I learned working in a shoe store. Also taught myself to juggle working the same job.

I am limitedly ambidextrous using power drills.

Wrapping my hands for boxing/muay thai pretty without watching while having a conversation. It made me look badass. I never understood why people put so much attention to it.
honestly, for whatever reason, that's almost always a meditative act. Maybe because of the motion, maybe because of the stillness required.

I eat pussy real good.
you can get throat cancer from that ya know. I once told a dude that farrah fawcett died from taking it up the butt and he got defensive, i just assumed that he liked taking it up the butt ,the research is clear.

I also had a Keyboarding Class in school... We played Sim City the entire class.
Lucky sherdogger. They were still using typewriters when I took the class.

We found ways to have fun though, even back then. When I looked closely at my cylinder I could see where someone had typed using no paper. It said:

"I am the bation master"
