When Nick Diaz fought Paul Daley, I really wondered if he was gonna go in like he usually does hands down, head out, talkin shit, to a guy with the KO power Daley had.

And sure as shit, that's exactly what he did, that was great.

Still my favorite one round fight ever.

i see so many people say this is a dirty move lol. to me it just shows the level of fight IQ Jon has. sumo allows this shoulder crank also and it's used for the same reason, to wrench people who get underhooks. i always thought this was a brilliant move and thought we'd see more people use it. i think that's the same submission Mir submitted Petey Williams with.

What's funny is, yea, in the gym you don't want to crank on someone's labrum of course, but in a fight i don't see it as a dirty move at all. It's a very specific position and it's the same type of punishment as leaving an arm in for an armbar and I've been a proponent of that arm crank, finding it strange that to my memory I've only seen it attempted once in recent memory (someone remember for me).

I find oblique kicks a much dirtier move.

I am notoriously not a Jones nuthugger, but the guy's fight IQ is the best we've ever seen. He was very good at hurting people.
