Sad story, but I doubt it!!
I witnessed a large seagull kill a large pigeon last year.
Gulls are a big problem where I live. I was attacked by one last year and have had similar incidents to that.
I always root for Eagle.Just as likely that it was a bird of prey. Their numbers are coming back strong in the suburbs and they have an abundance of small pets to choose from. They're breeding in every state.

Must have some big seagulls there. Cant imagine one picking up any size dog here.
I was in st Ives in Cornwall and saw a seagull get absolutely shredded by a patterdale terrier.
I live in Cornwall, and the seagulls in St. Ives are vicious fuckers. They take pasties, ice creams, chips right of your hands if you aren't careful.
When cats go missing it's usually the work of Satanic Cults.Cats have been disappearing left and right lately in my neighborhood. Seems like every day someone posts in the neighborhood Facebook group that their cat went missing.

Saw a pelican gobble up a baby pelican and give it to its own babies. Wonder if a seagull could shove enough of a tiny dog in its mouth and fly off?On topic.. seagulls aren’t exactly equipped to kill animals and eat them like a bird of prey.. wonder what the method for killing the dog would be.. but yeah, that dog is dead and gone. It’s not like the bird took it to a secret lair and is holding it captive like an evil villain or something.
Can’t imagine how much trauma something like that would cause the owner. I mean, that’s gonna replay in your head for eternity witnessing something like that happen to a pet you’ve attached yourself to. No body to bury, nothing.. don’t even know where your little friend wound up..
Needs oakleysdogs are now resorting to arming themselves here!
