People oftentimes expose their back when scrambling to get back to their feet. Its the wrestling-influence in MMA. Pantoja is an expert at punishing people for it. Alongside people like Khabib or Chuky Olives.

Maia made a career off of it. You can get away with giving your back and fighting the hooks off immediately against most guys, but not against the elite back takers like maia, pantoja, sterling, oliveira etc etc.

I think I edged it to Nascimento but that one could have gone either way, it wasn't clear like Moreno/Aksarov.

I think I edged Nascimento vs Ulanbekov for Nascimento too, but from what I remember Tagir finishing round 1 strong might have stolen it to some. Nascimento has a fantastic guard but he should try to add more striking from the bottom like Yair. I should watch Moreno vs Askarov I don't remember nothin.

His fights with Paiva and Motoya are both fantastic. But, as good as he looked against Tagir, I still didn't back him as an underdog against Hadley. Big mistake.
