Sleep - what is your average time/pattern?

8-10 hours, I also take ninja naps during the afternoon.
 
When I work nights I usually get 4-5 hours of sleep at the station and top up with a couple more when I get home. I'm at the beckon call of a pager for 80-100 hours a week, if I get 8-10 hours I'm a very happy man, but that probably only happens 3-4 times a month. Overall average, 6 hours. The 1-2 hour nap is my friend.
 
Sleep at 12, alarm set at 7:15 though I wake up by myself most of the time around 6:45 to 7.

Most days I fall asleep in minutes, especially if I have a glass or two of wine or some scotch.
 
During the week I average between 6-8 hours. Weekends less. Maybe 5-6ish.
 
Usually go to bed around 1-2 am, wake up at 830. On weekends go to bed around 3 and wake up around 930
 
Sometimes 12 hours, sometimes only a couple, sometimes none - it just depends what I have to do that night / the next day.
 
31 year old active duty military.

I have no sleep pattern.

Six hours a night is usually enough.
 
More often than not during the week in bed at 9/10ish, sleep at midnight, alarm set for 8am.
 
I go to bet around 1AM and I wake up at 10:30-11AM, roughly.
Can't complain.
 
Don't really have a sleeping pattern, it usually takes me at least an hour or two to actually fall asleep.

I went to bed at like 4 AM last night, woke up today at 11 AM.
 
M-F I generally go to bed at 2am, wake up for work around 8:30... give or take an hour depending on if the wife is working/gaming/watching a movie/exhaustion from BJJ class.

Sat,Sun I usually sleep at least 8, sometimes less if I'm going golfing our my body just wants to get up.

Strangely I generally feel more rested getting 4-6 hours than I do if I get 8 or more.

From the responses I'm gauging everyone is generally comfortable with 6-8 through week days. Next question is really, is that optimal?
 
I have a fucked up sleep pattern but i work nights. When i gotta get something done in the day I get up early and it fucks every thing up.
 
I have a two year old and switch shifts every 4 weeks. My sleep schedule is whatever ambien tells me it is.
 
I have 3 kids, 2 of them are still young. Sleep when can, if no can, no can.
 
Usually fall asleep between 3-4am wake uparound 12-12:30 pm.
