Skyrim Special Edition

I'm a werewolf!

Hit level 42 last night. These "returning ____ to it's former glory" quests are a pain in the ass. But I can use the gold.

The Thieves guild side jobs are the worst. I do them with disdain. I imagine yelling at Vex, "You need me to steal this damn golden chalice which I stolen twice before? No wonder this guild was shit!"

The companion side quest are almost as bad.

Dovahkiin - "Have any jobs you need me to take care of?"

"Farkas" - "Yes, there is a saber cat in this house we needed killed..."

Dovahkiin - "Let me stop you right there. I asked if there was anything for me. You know the Dragonborn, the slayer of Alduin. I'm sure even that drunk idiot in the corner over there can take care of a saber cat. Hell I killed three of them just walking here this morning. You know, screw this...send a courier if something important comes it. I'm going to find some Thalmor to Fus Ro Dah off some high shit."

Farkas - "Harbinger, wait there is also a group of bandits..."

Dovahkiin - "Fuck off!"

Thief quest are supposed to be "fillers" when you go to the town for other business. You have to talk to Ulfric? Steal the golden chalice while you're in Windhelm! Of course, a lot of "achievement freaks" want to do them all in an hour. That's tedious and boring imo.

If you really want to complete them fast, make sure to save before asking for a new job. Focus on getting both Vex and Delvin quests in the same town. Re-load to make it happen. Go do it, comeback fast. Go do the Special Mission, come back and repeat the process for another town.

1 hour if you know what you're doing and have all city waypoints.

Yeah, I'm still waiting to get those special quests from Delvin.. but I have to do five small jobs in like five different citites? Sheeeeiiiittt

I didn't realize that Vex's jobs count toward that too though.. nice to know

Every city has 5 jobs. Once done, every city has a special mission. That opens a new merchant in the Thief guild and a money raise for Tonila. You can sell much more stolen items when she has more money! You only need to unlock 4 cities: Riften doesn't count. There's no reward for Riften jobs other than money...

I've just started investing 500 gold into common vendor I visit. I'm going to need money to buy properties and build houses and of course hold 100,000 gold at once before that for the achievement.

There is a real fast way to get money: alchemy! Brew potions with multiple effects and sell them. Find vendors who buy potions and invest in them! One of the most expensive potion you can brew is Fortify Health: Creep Cluster, Giant toe, Wheat. Each potion can sell for over 1000 if your alchemy and speech is strong. Always buy these ingredients from alchemists, you wont regret it!

Man, the wife and I are having a great time replaying this game. It is so sad that the best games to come out for this generation of consoles are GTA V and Skyrim Remastered, both of which were last gen games.

I am a hoarder so I pick up everything I can and sell it. I hate being broke in a game (and in real life lol). I bring along a follower but I always tell him/her to wait in the front of a dungeon/mission area and I tackle it on my own (thief assassin) and then move all the goodies I got to the follower so I can immediately run another mission.

Then I sell everything off I don't want and store everything else. Found a mask (20%+ price) and a circlet (10%) so CHA-CHING!!!

Hoarding is alright but don't pick up everything. The common ratio for items should be a easy number: a weight to value ratio of 10.

Anything less than 1:10 isn't worth it. You should only take loot that has gold value of 10 per every weight. For example, if something weighs 37 it should be valued at at least 370. You can raise or lower the ratio depending on how much money you currently have or need.

Picking up item is a really tedious way to make money. You're much better brewing and selling potions: multiple effects potions are worth a lot and you level alchemy brewing them and speech selling them!

Got 52 percent of the achievements now.

Hit level 46 last night, even have a couple of my skills over 90... light armor and one handed. Once I get those two achievements I'll be sitting pretty.

Been going through the Dawnguard storyline now. I literally playing for like nine hours yesterday.

Also, since I got the 100,000 achievement I started spending some of that money.. starting with Lakeview Manor property.

Built the full house with all of the wings.. got married and moved the fam there lol.

Normally I build my main house at Heljarchen hall, the one near Whiterun. Always miss Breeze Home after awhile.

Having the same experience. We have been playing the game together and its been a blast. However Witcher 3 still rules this generation.

PS Store has this 50% off for the next few days. I'm itching to buy it even though I can't imagine doing a third playthrough. This game is so freaking long.

I never did a bow only run though. What to do??
