Skyline Chili

I was raised in Texas- been to plenty chili cook offs in my youth in the 80s . Over half the chilis had beans in it . Maybe its different in tbe Houston area but where I grew up beans were in the chili more times than not - I remember as I hated beans as a kid n would seek out the ones without at the cook offs.

The Texans dobt have beans in chili is more of myth than reality from my experience.


I wish the flour tortillas thing was a myth...

Cincinnati chili isn't chili its a meat sauce...the sooner you learn that the happier you will be
Basically true . Its like beef broth with some ground beef but very thin. Poured over pasta with like a half bag of shredded cheese on top . 4 way is add onions 5 way is add beans.

Only way it tastes decent is when its REALLY hot and the cheese melts totally on top . Still not great but better.
