So I managed to find someone selling their first Generation Skierg for a reasonable price. So I snapped it up as a brand new one in Canada is expensive. Have wanted one for awhile now.

Have managed to get a few workouts in so far. Damn it is really taxing and an whole body workout.

Had rotator cuff issues - training BJJ has caused a lot of wear and tear. Anyhow I had to take a few months of doing BJJ - going to get back to it this week sometime. Have been slowly working on getting my rotator cuff, shoulder, deltoid better (mainly range of motion and pain at certain angles).

Any, outside of running, is going to be my favourite form of conditioning.

If you have not tried one I recommend it.

Finding it a lot more challenging than the rower.

I used it several times (this version) without even knowing what it was a while back. I enjoy it more than a rower and it kicks butt fast if you don't pace yourself or go all out.

LOL, for sure. I first time I did it I did a 2000m low pace to warm up and then 5x500m. I went balls out on the first 500m and got about 200-300m in and was burnt. Paced myself better the last 4.

Eventually want to upgrade to the 2nd Gen - you can pull one cable at a time.

I also picked up an Inversion Table at Costco. Going to set it up tonight.

$700

A brand new 2nd Gen up here in Canada is anywhere from $1600 to almost 1900$ after taxes.
yeh thats reasonable for a c2. if it s anything liek the rower the main difference between the later versions is the handles and the computer, which are both easy to replace.

You might get more benefit from inversion boots. My mother used to own an inversion table and it didn't do anything for me.
Gonna give it shot for a bit.

Was going to put it together tonight but have been having some health issues and just really burnt out tonight.

Have had it for a few weeks now and it is by far my favourite conditioning equipment.

Have not tried a versaclimber but those things are even more expensive.

Loving it. You just get into a rhythm and can fade out everything and just put in a crazy effort. I find very few machines are like that.

I've seen some cheap versions on amazon.
I've considered getting one to see what it is like, only unfortunate thing with the cheaps ones, there is no read out of how far, high or fast you've gone, which is disappointing.

I lucked out - a found someone online looking to get rid of theirs - just sitting around. It's Generation 1 but still works good. I try to get on it 2-3 times a week.

Finding it way harder than rowing.

That P4 monitor is great.

I'm hoping to find someone selling a versaclimber - I missed out on one over the x-mas holidays. Would have saved like 1200$.
