Just thought I'd give Sirius Jiu Jitsu a shout out. Ordered a blue gi and loved everything about it. I mentioned to Jake how the pants were just a tiny bit too long and he offered to send me another pair of pants with my next order! How sweet is that?!?

Anyhow, Sirius gis are the real deal. All the guys in my gym are now thinking about ordering one. Much better fit than my Atama gold weaves a nice thick collar that reminded me of the Gameness'. For a fantastic gold weave gi I don't see how you can go wrong.

Quality is hands down the best bang for the buck. The jacket has remained nice and soft and is gold weave material. It's a little heavier than my Atama gold weave it seems but the fit is more snug. The pants seem real durable but I would say the Atama pants are a little softer. Collar was real thick as well, but not insanely thick like those Gameness gis. Sorry, can't really provide weight since I have no scale.

Honestly, if you're in the market for a gi you couldn't go wrong with Sirius. Great prices, great service, and great product. I went ahead and ordered a second gi because I was so impressed.

Cool. I will be on the market for a new gi in a while and want to get something blue so it will not get as dirty. That sirus blue samurai gi is definitely on my list.

can we get some pics? b00m3r you definitally gave some great comparisions to other GI's that I have seen, any more info on the weave? Also how is the cut, a Judo or Jujitsu cut? I have wide sholders and a big back for a little guy so I have problems fitting comfortably in some GI tops. Usually the sleaves are too long

TX-Bjj when you say get a smaller pant is it because of the length or fit?

Definitely a jiu jitsu cut. Sleeves are definitely a good length as I hate sleeves that are too long. Also the jacket has less fabric than my Atama so there isn't as much to grab onto on the front. Weave is gold weave but it's thicker and heavier than my Atama gold weave. The thing about the pants is aparently there's an issue where the black and blue gi pants are a tad bit too long. Get one size smaller if you're on the low end of the size range. Apparently white pants are shrinking to size though. Like I said, I just ordered a white so I can let you guys know how that fits next week or so.

I'll see if I can get some pics but don't hold your breath. :p Don't have access to a camera right now.

Cool! Thanks b00m3r. Pics would be a plus but tell us about the fit and such after you get to train in it.
