Single most iconic/legendary of each of the common submissions?

Nate's triangle on Batman was legit with the double fingers that's a classic

Also babalu's anaconda choke on sokodu(can't spell it)was legit as fuck

Might have to look in to that, do you know if they only broadcast it live, or can you watch it later?
It used to be like you could stream it for up to a week after the event I believe. This was in like 2009/2010 I think. I am not aware of anywhere that you can find those events as a whole anymore, but I am sure that at least the Toby Imada fight has to be on youtube or something. It's worth watching, that was one of the crazier comeback wins ever

Omoplata - Gil Castillo vs. A guy.

Rolled into it. Beautiful stuff.

are we gonna put an asterisk next to this one?

Armbar - Ronda's career // Hughes over GSP
Kimura - Mir breaking Nog's arm
Arm Triangle - Lesnar over Carwin
Rear-naked Choke - BJ Penn over Joe Daddy
Guillotine - Werdum over Cain // Chael Sonnen over Shogun
Triangle - ANDERSON SILVA FIFTH FUCKING ROUND OVER SONNEN
Triangle-Armbar - WERDUM OVER FADEOR
Heel Hook - paul Harris vs athletic commission
Kneebar - Frank Mir over Brock
Toe Hold - Frank Mir over whoever

honorable mentions of near taps: GSP-Hardy, Vitor-Jones, Tito-Machida, Wanderlei-Bisping, Carmouche-Rousey

least impressive submission in a title fight: Pettis-Henderson
I think this list is pretty good. In modern day times Ronda armbar is more iconic then fedors I think.

Also I'd like to throw in chaels guillotine over shogun since it was so unexpected, or I think in was one of the millers that had that one in ifl where it looked like the dudes neck was broken

not for the technique but for the importance to career and shock value i like tito-bader guillotine

Wouldn't call it legendary but McGeary's reverse triangle over Anundson was good.

There's definitely zero bias from me.
