Out of all the champions he's the most exciting.

Maybe I'm bias because Robbie has been my favorite fighter since 2005.

He comes to fight every time and with scary knockout power like he has it's easy to promote.

If you think it shouldn't be Robbie than who should UFC push as the top guy?

I don't know about number 1, but I feel like he doesn't get much promotion. He fights anyone and his fights are ALWAYS exciting, UFC isn't behind him all that much.

He lost to Condit and was behind against MacDonald.

You know, there's this guy named Jon Jones...

More like the condit fight could be looked at either way.

First fight with Rory he won and second fight he made Rory quit. Rory basically sat down and said I'm done

That's just beautiful.

but he won on the scorecards and finished Rory...and both fights were exciting as hell whether you disagree with the decision i can understand but can you disagree with that?

robbie lawler > melvin manhoef > mark hunt > ben rothwell > overeem > werdum = Robbie Lawler heavyweight champion and P4P king!

I actually don't think zuffa can just pick up a guy and make him a superstar. There need to be a lot of factors that work together for that to happen, you have to resonate with the fans enough and then they can promote the hell out of you.

Robbie could definitely get some more attention with the right promotion, he has a very exciting style, but hes missing that superstar persona that people like Conor, Liddel, GSP had. I think the diaz brother are actually better prospects if they were into doing a bit more media.

He has to prove his self again. He's p4p best right now but why promote a guy who keeps getting in trouble who could get the belt taken away again.

The real problem with promoting Lawler is that he is just so incredibly low key. And I am a big Lawler fan.

How about Lawler promote himself a littel first? He has the charistma of a sheet of cardboard. Not exactly a replacement for Conor is he...

I agree with you.

But damn UFC, just put a little effort into a guy like Robbie or any of the other successful fun to watch fighters out there...just a little and then you've got a roster to rely on when one goes crazy.

This putting every egg in one basket crap is become a disaster after a disaster.

UFC promotion doesn't do much other than let people know when a fight is. Conor literally went out and got fans. They all suck, but they equal money.
