Silva vs Pico is the match to make

I would love the fight, but Silva has a chin, Pico has proven he doesn't. I'm gonna be real and say Jean Silva should probably rise in rank after that, not above Lopes.
 
Please god no. Let's build him back up with matches further down the trough......way down. Juicy J, Hater Emil, Woodson, etc. Guys in the 20-30 ish range.
 
Give Pico someone his level, someone coming in from PFL or someone between 15-20
 
Pico is 0-1 in the UFC and didn't last a round, him vs any ranked guy is definitely not "the match to make".

I explained why not Silva in my post lol. Fringe means just on the outside. You really think Silva is dropping out... or even past 12? lmao

I think he should be about 11 or something like that. I think picos loss to the number 1 contender in a fight that was a title eliminator probably doesn't send him out of the top 15 I think 12 would be reasonable. It's not like he lost to a can
 
UFC will want to keep both of them alive for numbers. This matchup potentially kills one of them.

True but I don't know if the UFC wants to toss him in against another extremely dangerous opponent right away, I would think they would give him a bit of a step back to get his footing

He loses to Silva to drop to 0-2 he is finished as a contender

I think murphy destroys silva for what it's worth
 
Pico can not get koed again like that, for the sake of his health, and his career. They should give him a grappler, not a vicious striker like Silva.
 
I would like to see Pico get a win and a good streak going. I think the fight to give him is a good name but not anyone ranked like a Swanson or Barbosa
 
This would be an awesome fight, but I kinda want Pico to get a downgrade in competition. I'd like to see him build his way back up to contention.

Silva just fought the #2 guy in the division, the last title challenger. He should be fighting further down the top 10 next. Pico should fight someone 11-20 quality.

Aaron has now been knocked out 3 times and has only 13 career wins - that is fighting absolutely jabronis.

He does not have the ringmanship or fight IQ to fight at the level of Lerone. Thats why he got cartoon knocked out in his very first UFC fight in the very first round. In 9 UFC fights, Lerone had exactly 1 KO and 1 TKO. His last 5 consecutive fights were decisions.

Aaron has atrocious defense.

Well that's debatable, but I'm just saying that shot itself would've taken out anyone at the weight.

Sometimes fighters need a big name or chance to show their potential, Lerone rose to the occasion
 
There’s no point giving Pico an easy matchup. They already did that for him in Bellator. He’s suppose to be this great contender and prospect. Give him another hard fight to sink or swim. He’s on a big contract most likely.
