Lol, half of sherdog would urinate all over themselves if they got locked in a cage with silva. even if he were there on a couple days notice, coming off a surgery with no camp like he did against the lhw champion, he would violate every sherdogger.

That was the silliest exaggeration I have heard in a while. Silva rolled off the couch and DC played it safe which was smart.

At this point? DC is the best wrestler he ever fought and will likely ever fight. Silva has never had great tdd. Wrestling has always been his weakness.

The fact that people take this fight seriously as a competitive affair is silly. This was thrown together to keep DC on the card and save an important slot on the main card. It was done for entertainment sake.

People on here have unrealistic expectations a lot. DC came right out and said that he needed to wrestle the shit out of Silva so that he didn't risk getting knocked out by a guy who has probably been doing nothing but watching Netflix for the last few months and is from a lower weight class.

Silva has been taken down in the past in his own weight division with a full camp, this guy was an Olympic wrestler and is now the lhw champ.

I would say under the circumstances that this was a respectable fight that worked out for both guys.

DC wins the fight and gets paid. Silva looked like Silva briefly at the end, creating a little excitement and gets to be the guy who just showed up on 2 days notice. Nobody left on a stretcher. All in all I would say it worked out for everyone but the usual complainers that will never appreciate anything anyway.

Say what you ant about how DC fought but keep in mind that he spent a lot of time to focus and prepare spefically for Jones
This bout canceled must have been an heartbeak to DC, like losing all motivation so you cant blame him for not being at 100% vs Silva
It was no fun for DC to fight Silva while he could have avenged his only loss Vs Jones....
I do really understand his lack of motivation
