Silva should get a rematch

In retrospect that somewhat controversial loss wasn't a further slide into mediocrity, it was a loss to the champ. It was a closer fight than the Rockhold fight, so why not give it to him? Looking at Silva, he looks bigger and stronger and faster than all his opponents. Recently, he's looked like he can't pull the trigger, and can't bring himself to engage. When he does throw with intent, it seems to surprise his opponents as to how strong and quick he still is.

I guess the reasonable fights to make are:

Bisping v Rockhold 3
Bisping v Weidman
Rockhold v Weidman 2
Bisping v Jacare
Bisping v Silva

I don't think Silva gives Rockhold a good fight with current Silva and motivated comeback Rockhold, so let's stay away from that.
 
he needs to win a fight and then get in line after weidman rockhold jacare romero etc
 
It wasn't even a "somewhat" controversial loss though. Bisping beat him fair and square.

I love Anderson but no. He does not deserve to fight Bisping right now.
 
How about he wins one fight first. Please dont give shots to guys that are losing.

I hope the UFC thinks outside the box and get us a fun fight, no one cares about Jacare or Silva or anyone who doesn't speak English.
 
Silva should retire, he has nothing left to prove. The guys is 40+ and still a high level fighter, he is the MW GOAT let Bisping have his fun.

What?

You wanna give a guy who hasn't had a win since 2013, a title shot, and make a bunch of trilogies and rematches? And what, have Romero and Jacare win another 10 in a row to earn their shots?
 
Silva beats Bisping next fight... It is the perfect story UFC needs right now. Hope it happens. Think it will.
 
A Silva resurgence would be amazing.
 
Ok so i hate bisping (even more so now. Yes im still a rockhold fan).

I am a big anderson silva fan. Yes still a silva fan.

And i can say with absolute certainty that anderson does not deserve a shot at the belt. He needs to win some fights before this is even a thought.

Silva did not look like the better fighter in that fight. He was rocked by Bisping twice and lost three rounds. He would've lost four if not for Bisping stupidly trying to get the fight paused and not paying attention to his opponent. That knee doesn't land without Bisping's mental lapse. I don't want to see that fight again, I could easily see Silva getting knocked out this time.

its not a resurgence if they fast track him back to another title shot. Even if he gets by the count,and im saying IF,hes just gonna get mauled to death by any of the other top 5
 
The loss was not controversial. Silva has done nothing to be considered a contender.

5 rounds and he looked like this. Not saying A Silva gets the chance but you saw Rockhold take out Weidman, Bisping win a close 5 round decision to A Silva and Bisping knocking out Rockhold. Let's not get ridiculous in saying Silva is not competitive.
Bisping didn't show he was a contender either, he took a short notice fight.
 
Anderson in his last 4 fights didn t win a fight and got busted for PED no he dosent deserve a title shot ffs
