First thing I thought during Silva's walk-out was that he looked a little "dad-bod". Now he's never been Mr. Shredded, but he looked a little soft in the middle.

I'm one of those who would like to think that his storied career wasn't awash with roids, but who knows at this point. It was an odd fight, with him getting dropped twice (unusual) and a weird ending to round 3. Facts are, he shouldn't ever lose to Bisping, and it begins to make me doubt him a little.

He is 40 going on 41, but to get dropped with ease like he did and to lose that fight pretty convincingly - and it could have been well on the way to a 50-45 or 49-46 without that melee at the end of the 3rd...

Was it all roids? Was he on it the whole time? What do we think???

Please... be objective.

No, it's father time catching up to him. I'm a little older than him and can tell you even stepping into a cage at that age is damn impressive. The fact that he performed as well as he did tonight is testament to how great fighter he is and was.

Yes it was the roids

once you stop taking them your body transforms back into slob

You're seeing what happens when a fighter who relies on preternatural reflexes finally gets old.

(see Ali; see Roy Jones Jr)

He's been declining ever since the first Chael fight when he got dropped by a nothing punch [And he's taken a clean H-Bomb before]. His body looked the same as always, if not a little better than some fights and he's coming 41. How do you think Jon Jones, Conor, GSP or even Fedor for that matter will be fighting at 41?

The guy he just fought couldn't even make it to a title fight when Anderson was champ. In fact he couldn't even come close to beating the guys Anderson destroyed. Bisping himself is past his prime. It just goes to show how far Anderson has declined.

Same thing happened to Chuck, Machida, Shogun, Fedor and it will happen to anyone who stick around too long.
