This is something that has been bugging me since the fight. In the first round, Dan Henderson takes Silva down and they end up in a very odd position (of which I can't find a picture).
Henderson was on top of Silva but silva had control of Henderson's left leg as in half-guard. However, Silva was on his right side and had his left leg on top of his left. Henderson was really halfway to his back.
Now Silva just held Henderson down and Dan really had no idea how to exploit the situation. He may also have been scared of Silva going for a kneebar.
What I want to know is, how could Silva have bettered his Positon and how could Henderson have exploited it?
