Basically Dana White was mad that Espinoza didnt lie and add the international buys to make Mayweather vs McGregor seem larger than Pacquiao vs Mayweather, Espinoza is Floyds guy so Dana getting mad is weird, Dana lies about UFC ppv numbers by adding international buys, Conor didnt do 1.3 million buy sin USA alone, UFC tallies all buys to make the product seem larger than it is in north America this is who he suckered WME to buy it.
Conor vs Nate diaz in north America probably did 450-500k buys, then he threw in the canada buys, uk, and other countries in there to get it to over a million
just like Dana White has a PR team to get his UFC fighters fake followers on twitter and Instagram, he uses the if you speak it to existence people will believe it. Conor has like over 75 percent fake followers on his twitter if you use a twitter audit tool.
Dana was called out by Golden boy president back in 2010 or so, on his fake inflated PPV numbers for Brock Lesnar, the president of Golden boy challenged DAna White saying you can release inflated numbers because you are a not a public company dont lie tot he people to make your product more popular than it is, he then said show your real numbers and we will show ours, Dana never answered.
Showtime Sports Prez To White: We Can't Release Fake Numbers!
Here is quote from 2009 by former Golden Boy promotions president issuing an audit challenge to Dana White he even knew back then that White inflated his ppv numbers and lied
Schaefer questioned the legitimacy of UFC pay-per-view results that were leaked. He said HBO is a publicly traded company that would face serious repercussions for releasing false numbers. The UFC, he noted, is a private company with no such concerns.
“I think the UFC and boxing should be able to co-exist and work together in this thing that we call (combat) sports,” Schaefer said.
“I don’t want to talk (expletive) about the UFC. But Dana White can’t do an interview without knocking boxing. If he thinks we’re idiots and don’t know anything about the pay-per-view business, I’ll make him a challenge.
“I am willing to hire one of the top three accounting firms, at my expense, and do an audit of his pay-per-view results. They are nowhere near what is put into the public. There is talk that UFC 100 did 1.6 million, but it barely broke a million. I am willing to pay to have the audits done to prove this.”
White said he would not allow anyone other than fighters with a contractual right to do so to audit his numbers.
“Do you think I’m (expletive) crazy?” he said.
