Anybody else actually sit through this crap?

I recall when it was first coming out. There was a lot of buzz around because it was NC-17. I wanted to see it because I was only 11 and wanted to see Jesse Spano naked. Of course, it was impossible being 11 and all. I saw it a couple years after the release, a buddy of mine had gotten his hands on a copy. I didn't care much for the movie and was more interested in seeing some nudity(better than watching scrambled porn).

But it was on last night on Showtime, I decided to sit through it and watch it. And Jesus Christ, it truly was terrible. The acting was just crap. I read that a dozen girls turned it down and Elizabeth Berkeley accepted it because SBTB was over.

The story itself could've worked, a young twenty-something with a past coming to Vegas to make it. But yikes, what was the director thinking?

I was shocked this movie had a budget of 45 million and this was over 20 years ago.

The entire movie made me feel DIR TAY.

pretty sure i creamed my shorts at the theater. not my finest moment.

I would probably sit thru a 1.5 hr uncensored behind the scenes making of special feature of this movie. I read somewhere Eliz just walked around fully nude during breaks in between shoots no problem.

Glenn Plummer was actually on that fucked up show Cop Rock. You know the man needed to take a break from inner city gangster roles and vogue out for a bit.

Agree completely. Those who say the movie is "so bad it's good" are clearly delusional, but Berkeley was amazingly hot. Too bad they directed her to be so over the top it wasn't even sexy.
