yes, 29 palms. We're in the high desert (Mojave) above the Coachella Valley/Palm Springs area which is the Colorado Desert, the Joshua Tree national park separates us from them

You ever heard of Spotlight 29 Casino? I gamble in that Indio/Coachella area from time to time, they got Fantasy Springs and Augustines casinos, I go to Fantasy to watch boxing fights sometimes.

But man the drive there is nothing but empty desert, the nice Rancho Mirage area is hidden by big trees from the freeway, so all you see are small towns.

Its kinda creepy like you said the Hills have eyes type towns.

I remember passing Morongo Casino and those outlets and drove to Agua Caliente and seeing small towns with like 200 homes, right near the mountains, Im guessing most of the people live there are hill billies who look like miners.

Colorway reminds me of my old kitchen. I had dark espresso cabinets, white/grayish granite countertops, white backsplash, SS appliances, white/light gray floors. That range his hidious though. When that range needs replacement I would get a nice slide-in range to better compliment the hood and overall space. I would also consider changing the pulls/handles, but that's just me.

The range looks fine to me. I don’t really give a shit what it looks like as long as it is stainless steel. Also, the backsplash isn’t really white. It’s clear subway tile. It reflects a lot of blue in real life.
